Create New Web Page

Step 1 - Click the Create new web page link to create a new website page.

Step 2 - In the Title box, type in the name title for your new website page.

In the Body box, type in your text content. You can use the supplied text editor controls to insert images, create links and generally format your text. You can click SAVE at this point to proceed. Take note of your title of your page - it is also displayed in a box at top of the page after you save - as you'll need this information in the next step.

Step 3 - Go back to the Dashboard page and click on the Edit Menu link for where you want to place your new page. At the top of the next page, which is Primary Links, click on the Add Item link. Then, type in the path or page name for your page (e.g., /about). Note that you need to put a forward slash in front of your page title and be sure to separate multiple words with a dash (e.g., /crafted-jewelry). All text entered should be lower case with no spaces.

In the Menu Link Title title field, type in the name of your page, but this time type it exactly as you want it to display to your site visitors (so no dashes, etc. reguired this time). Then click Save at the bottom of the page.  Your new page will show up in the list of other page links and will also now be visible as a link for visitors in your navigation.

If you want to change the position of your new link relative to the rest of the links, you can simply drag your page links up or down the list on the Primary Links (Edit Menu) page. Be sure to click SAVE after you are done.

Taking it Further: If your website navigation scheme supports it, you can create drop down menus from page links to display sub pages. Just check the box under the colunm titled 'Expanded' next to the page that you want to place other links under, then drag those sub pages in the list under that expanded page link. Then click Save at bottom of page to see your changes in the menu at top of site.

Editing a Web Page

You can edit each of your website pages by clicking on the Edit button that shows at the top of each website page. Remember to click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page when you're done in order for your changes to take effect.
