The Parking Lot Analogy Revisited

Ok, we just can't ignore the timely relevance of the Philadelphia Eagles 28 point comeback on Sunday, December 19th, (see the Newest Team Bogey Battler selection), as it relates to the "Don't Look Now..." and "Don't Look Now...Epilogue" blog entries, of December 4th and 5th.

These entries both referred to an abstract football game, in which the lopsided score sent many spectators to the parking lot before the game was over, only to hear the roars of the crowd that had remained, as they witnessed dramatic and unanticipated events.

The abstract blog scenario was brought to life Sunday, and we can only wonder how many disgruntled Philly fans, after leaving before the final result,  were slamming the dashboards of their cars, as they listened to the broadcast of the comeback on their radios, and realized that in trying to beat the traffic home, they had missed being eye witnesses to one of the most dramatic comebacks in recent sports history.  They may have given up on their team,  but their team only new to do one thing...Keep Battlin' .

Did you see it? And is your favorite team still alive?  We here at teambogey.com love to play golf when we can, and like to watch the pros on the PGA when the tour is in full swing, but we know that the NFL is America's passion, and an ideal weekend for many Team Bogey members this time of year involves two activities if they can be coordinated to avoid conflict with one another, (or conflict with those imposing alternate agendas)..watching football and playing golf.   It's often a tough scenario to pull off, but Keep Battlin' Team Bogey...Keep Battlin' .
